question about rust!!
Whats up guys. I'm new to this site, so far it looks pretty cool. I gotta a question though. Does anyone else have rust around the wheel wells thats eaten thru? If so......how did you fix it? What is a permernent solution for this problem? i ask becuase this its getting on my fu*king nerves. Any input would be on this subject would be greatly appriciatedd.

yeah, the right hand side is worse on mine, cause i have it in front and behind the wheels. on the left it is only in front of the wheel. a permanent solution will be to cut and weld. bondo and all other rust treatments won't work.

well it's permanent for a few years (6-7). maaco would charge me 300 for all the rust spots.

all HONDAS are notorious for have the rear quarter panel rust first and fast... its thoses stoopid rubber lining thing under the wheel well....
take them off and you'll be fine.... as for the fixer upper.... you cut the infected pieces and weld on a new sheet on there.... i wouldnt reccomend on doing it your self cuz its a lil bit of work but your also need the precision to do it so it wont look all wierd.... |

damn, maxvla, u must be one of the lucky ones. I 've got like 3 friends who drive accords and all of us have rust on that exact spot.

50 degrees yesterday... i was sporting short sleeves and jean shorts. felt nice. i love cold weather.
