Almost all of Ford's smaller displacement performance cars are actually pretty good. The SHO, SVT Contour, SVT Focus, Mustang SVO, etc. You can rape the shit out of the motors and they'll hold (although Ford gets no credit for the SHO motors...they were built and tuned by Yamaha). FWD isn't my style but they're nice cars.

What?
You ever driven a ford?
I've had two 5.0's now, a civic, and a del sol.
Take care of your cars. They last.
The 5.0's were great!
But I just prefer owning a honda. I love them.

Most people haven't since no American Ford has worn the Cosworth badge. They're toying with the idea of making a Cosworth Focus available for the states...it's basically the 300hp turbo FR-200 concept that was shown a few years ago. I'm not a focus fan, but a 300hp turbo 2.0L would be wicked sweet as a daily driver.

Trust me, if you'd seen the concept car, you'd reconsider. It looked like a Focus with a wide body kit and a crazy front end (big opening although it did feed the IC) with a too-big-for-the-car wing above the hatch. I'd like to see them just sell the crate motor or a kit or something so you could drop the motor into...say....an SVT Focus (otherwise known as an overpowered go kart).
