Finally Got A Prelude
bought a 95 si, 5spd with 112k miles.
want to buy rims for it and was wondering if i should get 18 or 17. i dont really want to spend another 500 bucks on a chamber kit so i was wondering if i get 17, would i still have to get one, i will probebly lower the car just a little. also the car has 112k miles on it, is that too much for engine mods, becuase i dont want to buy all these engine mods and then the engine takes a crap on me. thanks |

the rims wont effect your camber, how much you lower it will. i wouldnt go bigger than 17's IMO. i dont like big rims though

what about the engine, is the milage too high for everyday abuse and putting on like a full exhaust, intake and msd ignition

ive seen h23's with 250k+ on them.. it depends on how the motor was taken care of.

17s look perfect IMO. A friend of mine had an H23 that went 250,000+ until he had a valve adjustment done that the shop messed up, he got a JDM h22 out of it.

Depends on the engine quality, Ive heard of some cars with 50k having more engine problems than some with more than 100k like my car, runs great cause the owner took great care of it... Changed oil every 3000... regular maintenance etc. |
