LS - tranny arent the pick of the litter for myself.
I myself have a Ys1 (92-93Gsr cable) tranny mated with a LS motor. Long gears on a N/a Car will suck, the hole theme of excelerating fast wouldnt be there anymore. I say try and find a short gear ratio tranny then the LS, unless you already purchased the LS.... Try and find the Ys1 from the 92-93 GS-R .... Greatest Cable Tranny out there IMO |

the b16a really does well with the J1 tranny. they are really hard to find but the shifts are sweet. I put one in an integra and the gears were short and quick keeping the engine in vtec. With a top speed of 140 mph at 8200 rpms. If you talk to anyone, running on the street and at the track this is the ideal trans. Good luck!
