RETARDED Timing!! Grr!

so my timing is fucked since the AC came out i gez, and i need to fix it. popped out the old timing gun and loosened the distributor and turned it accordingly. then the thing wouldnt turn anymore... the marks on the crank are only like a centimeter off where they needto be but i cant turn the distributor anymore... any suggestions?

i've installed my turbo and i took the AC out, is the timing belt the one connected to the pulley that the notches are on?

yeah man. The timing belt is the rubber belt with teeth that goes to your cam gears and crank (main pulley)....

i hads the same problem. Found out that I had the JDM D15B distributor on my D16Z6 engine. swapped it over. Seemed to fix the problem.

i got mine fixxed, just took the restraining brackets off the distributor and turned it some more. i'm getting exhaust put on today and so when i get it back home all i need to do is work on the fuel ratio long projekt... finally ending (I HOPE) it'll be worth it
