B17 swap on an EF
Is a f**kin' nightmare! OBDo conversion + B17 suks so bad that we ended up swapping out wire harnesses from another EF... the whole harness to include ECU to engine bay to even lighting. We are almost done tho. The OBD2 B18C5 swap into an OBD1 delsol was way easier. Anyway, just a heads up to everyone

b17a1 is gsr and b17b is ls/gs/rs. right?
i was going to do a B17a1 and i realized the difficultys and decided not to. plus finding parts for a B17a1 is hell. no one makes anything for it really. unless you do overnight shipping from japan. which cost a shit load for just a part. not worth the swap in my opinion. but good luck and have fun. let me know how it goes.

I was jst helping out somebody on the swap. The problem was, they really never done it before. So for the most part, we were all putting out heads together and just apply what makes sense.

I paid for his dyno the same day I dynoed mine. Completely stock B17, he pulled off 140whp and 100ft/lbs torque on a light a$$ car. We have plans to turbo that low compression engine...
