Post 99-00 Civic Si Front "H" Emblem Removal

99-00 Civic Si Front "H" Emblem Removal
by Civic_Addict

This modification is relatively easy. But as with any do it yourself project it requires patience.

I take no responsibility for any damages that may occur. The instructions are provided as a guide. Also you may have to cut and paste the links below into a new browser window to view them.

Tools Required
10mm socket or wrench
#2 Phillips screwdriver
Flat-head screwdriver

Step One:
Open your hood. Remove the five plastics "pops" (call them what you like) that are in the front of the car near the upper grill.
Step One

Step Two:
Remove the Phillips screws from each side of the car(two total). These are located in the wheel well, right at the "seam" where the bumper & fender meet.
Step Two

Step Three:
Remove the Phillips screws from underneath the bumper. They are located near the curve in the bumper(under side), slightly behind the front lip.
Step Three

Step Four:
Remove the two 10mm bolts from the under side of the car. These should be fairly easy to spot.
Step Four

Step Five:
Now gently pull the bumper forward. You may need to push down near the area where you removed the screws in Step Two. It should slide right off. Be careful not to scratch it.
Step Five

Step Six:
Locate the three Phillips screws behind the "H". Remove them.
Step Six

Now re-assemble the bumper and step to admire your handy work.
What it looks like completed
