i recently went to the nearest drag strip around my area and i definitely would not street again, not only do you accurately get your time but its the safest way to do it...and you dont' have to worry about gettin' in trouble!

This could go on for decades. Some of us aren't lucky enough to live near a strip. Even when I did live close enough they wouldn't let me race there. So if I ever wanna have some fun and see what my car will do the track isn't an option. I agree...it's just stupid to race on the street when you live near a track that's open. Just keep in mind the rest of us that don't have that luxury.

here in Florida and possibly other states the laws against street racing, particularly drag racing, is being enforced HARDCORE
I heard on the news that if you are pulled over for street racing you will be given a $250 ticket (I beleive), loss of license for a year AND possibly 60 days in JAIL they aren't taking sh1t so if you live in a state like mine please either be extremely smart about when and where or just stop altogether. Keep it alive, but better yet keep yourself alive |
