Electric Water pump.

I know a normal water pump is a parasitic drag on the engine. but how much hp can you possibly gain from a electric water pump?

anyone know any sites that sell them?

According to AirTexProducts:
Quote:
Over the various drive cycles...should show improvements in the order of 5-7%.

Here is their website faq
http://www.airtexproducts.com/mechwaterpump_faq2.html

Some guy on a domestic board claims he gained 10whp on his ws6.
Another trans am guy claimed 9.6whp

As for hondas:

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=175204
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=97535
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=90270
there are a lot more...I just picked these.

General consensus:
4-6hp
Pain in the ass to install
Forever and a day needed to warm up the car - Not recommended for colder climates
