Dude at Speed and Truck World in Miami told me he'd put a stick shift Prelude engine in my 4th gen accord for $6000. I think that would be a nice way to go. i don't know bout all that h22 and h23 stuff, I don't even know what those are, but they know what they're talkin bout

I'd go with either an H22 or H23+turbo
Azn, did you mean an H23 with an H22 head? Or maybe I have it backwards

yep abd the bores for the 3 engines are the same 3.43 in. the only difference will be the stroke: Stroke H22-3.57in H23-3.74in So i guess no porting is necesary for that kind of swap. BTW www.jdm1.com has the entire swap: engine, tranny, axles and ecu for $2300 for h22. no prices for h23 yet.

nah not in yet... in soo lazy... the car cant come out till march... so till then i can only touch it.... ahhhhh
and you could theoretically put a type r engine in there but theres 2 problems with that.. first off... its gonna be damn expensive to buy one let alone the time to put one in cuz the mounts are not the same.... the second big problem is that you will have less in the car with the type R... you have to remember that the accords are heavy to sin and the amount of torwue on the engine will barely pull a 3000lbs compared to a 1900lbs civic/integ..... besides.... you could buy an H22 with install for about the same price for just the type R engine...... THe best engine to pull it would be the H22 and the cost wise too... its a perfect fitting....hope that clears things up for ya!! |
