On a scale of 1-10, how hard is it to change brake rotors yourself? I got a set coming and picking up pads tonite. Any step by steps?

Well if you have a haynes auto manual it will make it very easy. They have written directions with pics. I do think you need some type of hammer because the rotors are on their pretty good. On a scae of 1-10 with 1 being a strut ar and 10 being engine porting camshaft grinding i give it a 5.

i think it's pretty easy but nasty to do. it's the same crap i have on my car and you need to remove the steering knuckels and have the hub bearings pressed out then have the disks out. it will take a day or so to do it

Well, I did them today, new Brembos and honda pads, piece of cake, for everyone intrested, you dont have to have your bearing pressed out unless you are wanting to replace it. Hardest part is getting all the parts unrusted but while I was in there, I cleaned the crap out of everything, looks sharp now, now for some new tires and some KYB AGX's.

hmm i had to have my hubs pressed out the first time. i guess it was too rusted after 10 years. the second tie i did it i only needed to tap the hub lightly to come out
