I thought the suspension was redesigned from eg to ek...

I don't know either way... I just thought that they were different.

suspension may have been redesigned but the bolts wouldn't/shouldn't have been moved that mount the suspension to the body

The whole chassis is redesigned... there's NO logic to saying the suspension mount points "shouldn't" be changed...

A chassis redesign is a chassis redesign... they generally don't hold themselves to previous dimensions...

Again I'm not saying your wrong but if your logic is "they shouldn't have been moved"... then I'm questioning...

Has anyone USED a 92-95 bar on a 98?

Are any companies selling the same part number for both generations?

That would be a better way of telling...

Matter of fact I'll check.

98 Civic 472+0272 CUSCO Rear Upper Strut Bar - ALUMINUM $146.36
93 Civic 472+0272 CUSCO Rear Upper Strut Bar - ALUMINUM $146.36
Integra 472+0272 CUSCO Rear Upper Strut Bar - ALUMINUM $146.36

NSX 472+1305 NEUSPEED Rear Upper Tie Bar - POLISHED $158.48
00 INTEGRA 472+0376 NEUSPEED Rear Upper Strut Bar - D35 - POLISHED STEEL $206.05
98 CIVIC 472+0376 NEUSPEED Rear Upper Strut Bar - POLISHED STEEL $206.05
93 CIVIC 472+0376 NEUSPEED Rear Upper Strut Bar - POLISHED STEEL $206.05

They're the same.

Thanx buddy, saves me from having to bye one now. I had a '93 hatch that was totaled in an accident and I'm trying to use as many parts as I can that were salvaged.

Ive owned both 5th gen and a 6th gen hatchbach. They definately look the same to me. Your data obviously supports that. BTW suspension redesigned? How so? My suspension looks the same as the 5th gens.

I thought they went to the rear LCA's similar to type R one's...

They have a different LCA which allows different struts/shocks to mount to...

It's definately a chassis shift though... eg and ek are two different chassis... you can swap stuff around but not as readily as you can with 94-00 teg to eg.
