has anyone done the 9005 conversion?
9005 conversion
It is a pretty easy mod to do. Basicly you just shave out some stuff on your high beam bulbs and they plug right into your low beam sockets. Since G3 tegs have the projector lamps on the low beams you don't have to worry about blinding oncoming traffic with em either. It only takes about 30 minutes to do both bulbs. Try it. I've had it in for several months now and no problems. I got the Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs because they are only between 12 and 15 bucks apiece and the light they produce is a really bright white with just a hint of blue. It is a really cool mod. |
