slight misfire at idle???
figured I would throw this out and bounce some info off everyone to see what comes up...
OK here's the run down: Replaced my timing belt on my ride. 93 civic 1.5 SOHC D15b7 everything was at TDC when the belt was replaced. started up after the 2nd crank and sat and ran at idle. -Gave it a little gas and sounded like a very slight misfire I could hear through the exhaust -After running about 20mins started to sputter/miss and cut off... -wouldn;t restart for like hour and half later. -it would run and at idle have a slight miss it seemed. -I have a B&M FP Gauge under the hood and pressure is not being lost nor ever goes down when it cuts off, nor has the fuel pump ever stopped working as I have checked that. I did also replace my spark plugs and didn't check the gap this time as I couldn't find my gapper, but would that cause it or am I just probably a tooth off on the belt when I put it back on? Any thoughts would be great...thanks for your time and looking |
