yes it does work.. but there are cheaper alternative (brown bread -- www.b-quiet.com/brownbread.html )
Basically anything that would add weight to that surface.

In most cases, the major part of the rattling is from the license plate, so put something behind it that will absorb the vibrations..

If you tell me what car you have, I could help you better..

Vehicle: Bad Mutha ****a -------))) doenst say much!

so then the critical points are the trunk lid, the side walls of the trunk and your rear deck (where the speakers are..)

Yes dynamat hellla helps. It doesnt only get rid of rattle, but also of road noise. The trunk is the most important part, but you can aslo get door kits. Go with the EXTREME, it holds on the best.

Definitely have your car dynamated. I had my trunk lid, rear deck and read pillars dynamated and it makes a huge difference if you are running subs. Definitely made me smile. Cost about 130 at bestbuy including installation if you want to have it done. I had a set of speakers in the back thrown in while they were at it.

dynamat made this "special" license plate holder that totally eliminates the rattling from the license plate...my brother has it on his accord....also my brother has dynamat on most of his trunk...b4 he had it there was so much rattling but the dynamat really helped out a lot...btw u can get that license plate holder at bestbuy...
