civic smoking
I had a new 1.5 put in it in June but a week after that, the timeing belt broke and it sat until about 2 weeks ago. During that time I had a 1.6 y7 head put on it. It runs good, but it's burning oil and it smoking like mofo. If it's not my piston rings.(Which it shouldn't be) Could it be my valve spring seals leaking? If not that, are there any suggestions on what could be causing this?

If your timing belt broke...you could have some nice bent valves.

It could be the rings, yeah. Do a compression test.
Look at the headgasket and valveseats also. |
