Trim painting
Ok-
I want to paint my lower side skirts(stock) on my civic black to match the paint. I went to the paint store and they told me that they had special primer for plastic and they could match the cars paint by making me a special batch. He told me that it will come out very well and match almost perfect. What do you'all think. I have to buy a pint of paint for $30 I could also use it to paint my interior pieces, which I thought woould look cool as shiny painted black instead of dull plastic black and grey!! Ok will you car gods write me back with any opinions and info on this thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! |

well as long as you prep the side skirt well befoer goin through the painting process and take your time it should look good..
Make sure to clean the side skirt wel before you prime them...Then go through the process of taping off everything unless you rmove them to paint them. As for using the same paint on the interior to spice up things I would say cool as well..But once again take your time in preping hte pieces and don't rush it. the more time you take the better the putcome will be... |
