Pioneer DEH-P735
Hi, anyone ever heard of the Pioneer DEH-P735 single unit cd-player?? Does anyone know where i can find the installation/operation manual for it? I was just messing with the backpanel and don't know what some of these wires do. Thanks!

For the price, Pioneer decks are good. But from what I've heard in cars, I'd rather have a high end Nakamichi, Alpine, or an Eclipse deck. There are other good ones also.

Pioneer stuff is good shit.. The best cd player ot get is the Pioner 9300. that cd player is the shit.. with graphics u can get some the net and it can control every speaker in ur car and the subwoofers. its kinda expensvie but its worth it. just my 2 cents

the nak 45z has 20 d/a conversion. while this is not noticeable in regular systems, it is very noticeable in high end sq cars, like mine. the high frequency sound quality is untouchable. granted it doesn't have graphics or all of the control of a pioneer 9300 but i have owned both. while the pionees 9300 says it puts out 50w into 4 channels, the 42w the the 45z puts out sounds much cleaner. believe it or not the graphics in the pioneer do several things, 1. they make the unit run that much hotter, 2. pioneer has to use space to program the graphics that could have been used to make the sq better, and 3. they drive up the cost of the unit and make it more likely to be stolen. also, it is somewhat difficult to see the graphics on the pioneers during the day. in addition to that, the DAMN DANCING LIGHTS ARE SO FREAKIN ANNOYING AT NIGHT WHEN YOU DRIVE!!!! every time it switched colors, i panicked cuz i thought the cops were after me. the 45z is a very simple unit to use. there aren't 10 million menu options. don't get me wrong, they do have alot of control, but IMO all of that control takes away from the sq of the radio. if you ask me, if you need that control go buy an external sound processor. it will sound better. and yes i have owned a deh 9300. not only that but a deh 9300 retails for what, $1100? a 45z retails for around $600. anyone disagree with me? i also like many alpines, but would never buy an eclipse radio or subs.

back to the original question... lol.
ive pretty much figured out all the quirks of my pioneer now... rakugaki... if you have questions about how to do things JUST ASK!... it should be pretty much the same as mine... it was made in like 1999 or something. kinda old. but still nice! you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. comparing a light dancing wannabe cd player with real equipment... why even discuss it? |

if you got a 9300 for $360, it is either stolen or used.

hondaman: for the money, you get a lot with Pioneer.
------------------------------------------------------------------- you guys should also consider Kenwood.. They are pretty much the same price as Pioneer, but are a little better IMO.

personally IMO i would get a pioneer over a kenwood any day of the week. i have sold both exelon and premier. my exelon 815 not only skipped horribly at rather low volumes, but also over small bumps. and this was all before it started spitting gears up at me. this is why you can no longer buy exelon at circuit city.
