Reset SRS light
Car in question: 95 Civic LX Auto 1.5L
I installed some indiglo gauges and as per the Haynes manual I took apart the SRS system below the steering wheel so I didn't accidentally set it off while fooling with the wires... what a mistake! Everything works fine except now when I turn on my car the SRS light stays on. I've read of ways that you can reset the SRS light on newer models but what about on mine? I really don't want to pay a dealer $50-100 to do it if it's simplistic enough. I have tried double checking all my connections and I have also tried disconnecting the battery and touching the two detached wires together in hopes to drain power stored in the control units capacitors and clear it's memory. PLEASE HELP!!! ripthesystem |
