Brakes (again)
i changed my brakes and suspension this week and now the left front brake disk is already red hot only after a 5 mile trip. i had the same problem before i changed my old disks and pads. that caliper was getting stuck, but not the piston. it was the caliper braket, so when i had them off the car i just cleaned the pins and made them move freely, with no blocking. i just don't know what else to do. anyway my disk is warped already, and when i press on the brake the car shakes like hell. i'm running out of ideas on what i could do to it. maybe get a new braket and pins, or god knows. any help ?

Here's a solution that may help. Here's what you'll need:
1 friend, preferably named Barney 1 really good saw for cutting metal Use really good saw to cut huge hole in floor boards, then don't go anywhere without Barney. The two of you ought to be capable of stopping the car by putting your heels down. You can even get an extra acceleration boost by using your feet to help with power. Hope this helps! b |
