Living Together Before Marriage..:) or :(
Now that I just got done reading Highlander's comment on divorce, it comes to mind...
I'd like to get everyone's opinions on living together before marriage. Yay, or Nay?

An absolute YES, 100% MUST. Marriage isn't the "test" of whether or not you can spend the rest of your lives LIVING together; the living together "test" should be before marriage to end doomed relationships before wedlock.
But I'm sure you had already guessed my response.

in my opinion no couple should get married unless they have lived together for more than a year at least. in fact i doubt marriages unless the couple has been together for more than 3 years. some people may be wonderful and everything but when you live with someone you learn more. a couple needs to learn eachother's daily habits. it's a test

Living together is absolutely essential before marriage in my opinion. Why? Because having to face a person day in and day outis the only way to really know someone. Sure, you may think you know them beforehand, but their everyday quirks and annoyances will be something you don't know until you live with them. Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it.

My wife and I lived together for a couple years before we got married, and we dated for five. I feel you learn a lot about people this way. Whether its right or wrong is a personal issue that only you can answer for yourself.
I love being married, my wife is great. Sure we have our moments were we don't completely agree with each other, but I wouldn't expect us to agree 100% on anything as we are both human.
