Forget the color guys...check out the actual internals. It's a custom turbo-lude, w/ a nitrous setup too, I think.

i hate to be the picky one, but the piping looks like crap, its not cut the right lenghts, it looks like he had a bunch of intake piping and made something work, wtf is that steel line going ovedr the top of the valve cover doing there? that radiator hose looks like crap, as do most of the engine dress up. i dont wana completly rip it apart, but just because its a turbo'd h22 dont cream yourself... well... at least its in a 4th gen

it looks like a kit that was just thrown together with spare parts, the turbo/downpipe/manifold/tial are nice, the rest is rigged, NOS Wet Kit with what appears to be a T3/T4 hybrid on a H22....that couldn't have held together for too long

Not to be another picky one...but I think that motor looks like garbage. Too much stuff everywhere. To many hoses and wires and stuff. Not my cup of tea. I would rather see a B16 with a CAI and a nice ceramic header.

The filter is there because that is where it has to be. That's the inlet on the compressor section, the only other place that the filer could go is in the wheel-well, and I would imagine it's filled with plumbing. You would be suprised how quickly you can run out of room when doing a turbo install.
Either way, it looks good, I wonder what kind of boost he is running, I don't see any kind of signs of extra fuel management. -Ducky

Two more things. First, the steel line connected to the turbo is actually for oil (turbo's get hot and need oil, you should know this) but not quite sure why he has it going over the head of the motor.
Also, if you guys wanted more information, you can read about the car in the May '04 issue of Import Tuner. I can't believe how newb some of you guys are. No offense. -Ducky

lmao, sfking, you are right. it'd be wise to have it set just a bit lower, right below the radiator fan. heh... i like colorful engines. and lol, this is probably all done by a single person. still, its cool looking, maybe its for show only?
