Drive 3
When Im in the city I keep my v6 in drive 3. I never go above 4 and half grand. Will this have any negative effect on my car? I hate it when Im in drive 4 and it shifts back and forth.

drive 3 limits your car to maximum of 3rd gear.
if you push 45-50 in town you'll get excessive rpms. but if your just mopeding around at 30-40 drive 3 is fine. excessive rpms btw wont harm your car in that speed range it will just burn extra gas. >>Later>> |

Why not just put it in D4 and let your tranny decide which gear is best?!

i dunno 'bout the v6 but the i4 really likes rpms over 3500. they work best there.
