What should be my next mod?

All I have for performance is a AEM CAI. What should I get when my credit cards are paid off.

I'd drop it next, then get exhaust, headers, etc.

i would go witht he basic header and exhaust thing. Just get an idea of what you want the car to do. If you want forced induced power (besides a turbo) then get a header that has large short primaries and an exhaust with a large diameter. Take smart slow steps to make the most of you money and youll progress quickly.

get a drop. then think of what you wanna do like boosted said. i'm more into "go" than "show". if u choose "go", i can honestly tell you now that Fi (especially turbo), is the way to go with an EX. the power is very suprising. i had I/H/E myself at one time. it didnt do much to my car. i ended up selling my headers and intake for cheap.

Just think about whre you want your car to be as a finished project. I, for example, got I/H/E because I saved for one, then bought the next. Now that I think I'm going turbo, the intake and exhaust will have been a waste of money.

If you're still undecided, get an exhaust. No matter what direction you go, an exhaust will always be useful later.

I really want a greddy evo cat back as my next performance mod. After that comes the 17in. tenzo shu4's and eibach prokit. Then maybe a ww avenger kit. When you don't have much cash flowing around, mods take forever.

I think Josh (2ndGenTeg) meant was his intake and header will be a waste of money. The exhaust is useful even if you go turbo in the future. I'd suggest going with an exhaust, which will obviously help performance wise, plus give your car that nice rumbly sound. But, of course it all depends on what kind of budget you are working with... I mean if you have a lot of money to work with, the options are much greater than if you are trying to stay within a price range of a few hundred dollars. Good Luck!!

Same boat! I am not sure if I am going to due the Turbo thing yet, but I think I do so I am going with exhaust first. After that I am definitely going low!

Nope, see... you said that your intake and exhaust will have been a waste of money, see last line, first paragraph. I know it was just a simple typo, but thought I'd clear that up if anyone was confused.

Look at your long term goal. Personally if it doesn't give me HP or benefit the performance, I'm not interested. Decide where you're going before you start.......

I am not wasting money on a clutch yet. I could definately save for an exhaust first and then work on turbo.

Your probably right.. Your car is still pretty new you could probably make it last for a while if you dont run mcuh boost through it or drive it real hard..

Its not that its new. I drive it pretty hard now. I just don't want to buy a new clutch yet because I don't have anything else. Maybe after I get the greddy exhaust and start saving for the turbo, I will get a clutch. Thanks for helping me out.

I understand, but heres my thinking.. I spend all this money on a turbo getting it running right and after a couple of weeks the clutch goes out.. Damn now I gotta drop another several hundred dollars that I dont have to put a new clutch in it.. Thats why I said clutch first.. Im thinking money here.. I wouldnt want to go and spend about 3500$ on a turbo kit... and then have my car sitting in the drive way because I dont have a clutch to put in it.. But thats just my thought any ways..

I'm kinda sittin in the same position....I put my AEM CAI in not too long ago, an I jus bought my Greddy Evo last week....but I won't get it til end of september, beginning of october cuz greddy is backorderin them from Japan! I would say to add exhaust/headers first so that you can get the air to flow smoother to truly benefit from intake. Rims won't really change anything rather than the look, whereas i/h/e will maximize the power of your intake, otherwise the intake isn't really helping you out much. After that, then start with the rims/kit etc....at least that's what I'm doin cuz it makes sense.
