Hmm A bit odd
So I downloaded some software with a crack... the problem is I have no local settings/ Temp folder I'm stumped and could use a bit of help thanks

It's just odd I can't find my local settings or temp folder... is there any reasson I would not have either of these folders?

yeah but if it was hidden I should still be able to find the folders, I download Adobe Premeir and it came with a crack and the only way to make it work is to replace the original file with the crack... but I can't find the damn folder I need!!!!! ERRRR....

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp in case you are using xp
and yeah, local settings is a system folder and most likely is hiodden from view. go to folder options ans select show hidden and system files

Double Click "My computer" then from the Menu Bar, select "Tools" then "Folder Options", select the sencond tab labled "View"
Then about half way down, there is "Show Hidden files and folders" put the bubble next to it, then apply and ok out of everything. I think by far the easiest thing to do would be extract them to the desktop. |
