fuse keeps on blowing out!

I just installed my new cd player (panasonic cq-df783u) in my 2000 honda civic ex and now the instrument lights fuse keeps on blowing out, even when i replace it with a brand new one. does anybody know why this is happening? any way to fix this problem?

thanks

obviously a short somewhere...take your stereo out and check all of your connections...did you intentionally connect a wire into your intrument circuit, cause that might be a bad thing. a newer car like that may have weird security stuff running everywhere. not sure exactly, but your fuse is blowing for a reason...DO NOT just put in a higher rated fuse.

that would be the first guess to check all the leads to make sure nothing is tied into the Gauge cluster wiring or has been left loose to make contact and blow the fuse. definitly DO NOT put a bigger fuse in to try and sole it as that could lead to other problems for yourself...

hope you get it figured out and working properly...
