What engine modifications are best for an automatic?
I have a 93 Civic EX, automatic. I was wondering what engine modifications would be worth doing. I've got an intake, but thats it so far.
Is there anything else that would be cool to do? |

The same as with a manual tranny. Plus a better torque converter.

NOS system is great for automatic, better launch 'coz you don't have to worry much about wheelspin, and floor it till the finish line... just don't go overboard with the spray. my friend dominated the drag strip with an automatic integra ls with 100 shot of NOS.

So manual isn't the be-all and end-all...
I was feeling like the scum of the Earth at the tuner meets when I'd tell the guys my car was an auto. They'd all hang their heads uncomfortably and change the subject like I just told them I was raped. Y'all are making me feel a little better about myself now. Of course, the future Civic WILL be manual tho! So it's safe to add NOS to a stock engine with an intake. What about with the ugly plastic factory intake? |

Supercharger or a quick spool turbo. An auto is not hopeless man.
