I don't know...it doesn't seem right. I mean, with any sort of self contained power supply you have to have a chemical reaction to generate power (like a car battery which has acid and water in equal parts). Where the hell does the reaction come from with vegetable oil? I guess it could work if they had some sort of material to use as a collector that made a reaction with vegetable oil...but shit...it's vegetable oil.
