Overload Alternator??
Ok. I think i have too much shit hooked up in my car. I have everything out for winter but in the warmer months i will have my underbody neon kit, 2 15" neons inside, my sound system (1 500W amp/subs and cap), 1 5" led screen, and my xbox all hooked up to one battery. Now what i need to know is weather or not this is puttying alot of strain on my alternator..i really need help with this..thx

your alternator is gonna put out 12volts reguardless of what you hook up to your battery.

the alt should operate at 13.8-14.4v..
Now, your alt probably put out apx 65 amps.. which isnt very much.. So when playing loud it will be put under major stress.. and die much faster.. so then you can have it rewound to put out more power.

hmm, i'd say the prices are alittle variable.... call up an automotive place, or better yet a specialized alternator place ;D

You can also have an alt of a Legend/Vigor rewound for you needs.. You'll obviously have even more power..
