hey!
OK, i'm new to this thing.
I have a stock 1999 Accord Coupe. It's an automatic (yuck), white with the four cyclinder. I've had it for 3 years and have only put 26000 miles on it. I've only added K&N filter and bosch quad plugs. Thats about the extent of any work I've done to it. |

i have no idea. I love my car, but am ready for a little change. I thought about rims and tires (i have stock alloy) or exhaust and cool air intake and work on performance.
What's a good thing to start with. I'm not big on all show and no go. I'd rather it be kind of plain and have a little guts, but I didn't think about all that when i bought it. |

NGK's are available in most car parts stores.. I havent seen any that dont carry em. For the Denso's, you'll have to go to specialty (performance) shops..
Though NGK, is probably your best value. I have a hood deflector on my car, and I have no intention of taking it off.. When on the freeway, you get so many little shits flying at you.. transparent deflectors are now available.

Very true.. Bosch are more for German cars. Honda Recommends NGK and Denso and they use them as stock plugs. I person wouldnt even waste the money on the platinum plugs... If you get the NGK V-Powers you will be in great shape..

V-Power=Glorified version of the stock plugs. NKG wires: no hands on experience with those. i heard that they are stock wires Indeed bosch are suited more for the european cars. they are running a bit cooler (80C~176F), and theiur engines are very high reving for short periods of time. They are most suited for Fiats, Seats and cars like that.

Welcome to HS....
I use the NGK Plugs in my ride and like them.... I've gone through 2 sets of Accel wires and liek them as well... you can get both from like Pepboys... good luck w/ the ride and the future mods you do... About the bra it might protect the paint but will also fade the paint under it. also some can flap as you drive down the road which can hurt he paint as well...Hope this helps... |

Heres that clear mask stuff that protects against rock chips and such you may want to look in to it instead of a bra.. Black bras on cars suck IMO...

Welcome to HS. On my Accord, I've been running bosch plat +4 and I don't like them. I'll be changing them out to some NGK plugs.
Good to see another Accord member
