Civic Rear Speakers

I have a 92 civic LX w/o speakers in the back. Crutchfield says there should be 6 1/2's all around but im wondering if i can cut the holes bigger in the back for 6x9's. Has anyone done this? (btw, there are no holes there now)

is it a hatch? I cut into my rear deck and fit two 6x9s in there. It can be done. I now have two 6x9 box now so they project forward.

doh! My fault! temporary lack of sense. Even so, You should be able to cut through and make your own holes and mounts and whatnot. I personally like the front projection cause it just sounds better and is more directed at you.
