this is driving me nuts
ohh boy here we go again. i've changed my suspension last week and ever since i had only problems. i finished the car on thursday and on friday i had it aligned because of a new tierod so the toe was off, ( http://www.hondastyle.com/forums/sho...&threadid=6254 ) then by monday the car started gaining height for the left side ( http://www.hondastyle.com/forums/sho...&threadid=6365 ) and now it's at stock height. WTF is wrong with that ? all those money thrown away ? the car still handles nice and i can't hear any noises. wtf wtf

Other then the springs not being seated right, I dont know what else maybe the problem without seing it first hand.. Ive never seen a car get higher without adjustable suspension.

before the old suspension went out the car started gaining height. could it be the crappy strutbars ?

Has your girlfriend been slowly losing weight?
Wait a minute....so you're saying that your car was gaining height even before you rerigged the suspension? Strange.....could the shocks be shot? Tires hooked up to an inflation device? Is the ground around your car maybe getting lower? Dunno man, I've only ever heard of cars losing height with age..... b |

When did you install the springs??
Are you sure some "friends" of yours didn't install an airbag setup when you weren't looking, and now they're hiding somewhere, raising it and lowering it and laughing their asses off? |

i looked underneath the car again and i noticed that the spring is not seated correctly, and i will have to drop the tower and put it back again. the only thing i'm afraid off is that i might have blown the shock and i don't have $90 to replace it right now. the shcok seems to be ok but i'll see when i drop it tommorow

You would probably know if your shocks were going out when you drive it. My friends went out on his eclipse and the car rode like crap, every bump he hit you could feel the rearend sway. One of his rear shocks were blown.

put it back in and it was fine for a few days then it went kaboom. i looked underneath the car today again and the fram seems to be bent. i think maaco will straighten it out next week. all the back end of the car is displaced to the right 1cm.
