Arrow EG 4-door system install questions

Hopefully someone can accurately help me out. I put a pioneer deck in my 4-door (soon to be swapped out, but still) and there's still a bit of room in there. It's a single din and all, but I can't seem to get the bracket that came with the system in there. Seems the bracket's too big, but the system is too small. Is there some sort of special bracket I need to securely mount an aftermarket system in there? Also, everyone I've talked to and everywhere I look tells me that the 4-door civic uses 6.5" speakers. If so, then I must have one ultra rare Honda, cuz mine doesn't. I know what I'm talking about here, just trust me on this one. Anywayz, I've already put a set of 5 1/4" in the front (fit perfectly in the stock bracket), but it's the rear I'm concerned about. There's no bracket and the factory units just had a three bolt mounting. What do I need to get/do to put in some 6.5"? Thanks.

Lets see if i can help. Up front, the car can handle a shallow 6.5 speaker, or you can use the outter grips on a 5-1/4 and get it to fit. Regardless you should be able to get a 6.5 in there if you want. As for the rear, it's most likely a 6.5.

The head unit: The head unit should be a little small when compared with the space. The unit should have a aluminum bracket that pops into the factory hole. Then you bend some tabs out to hold it in place, then the head unit pops right into the bracket. You may need to use a sharp tool to make the dash hole just a tid bit larger.

Thanks for the advice. When I originally put in the head unit I couldn't get that metal bracket in, but I was also in a hurry. I'll make sure to take my time as soon as I get my new system.

Also, the back speakers are definitely not 6.5. My buddy has a 93 EX coupe, and apparently that came with brackets for 6.5s. Mine didn't come with any, but I'm thinking it's either because it's a four door or cuz it's an LX. Either way, does anyone know if the coupe's brackets will fit? I'm just about ready to say screw it and custom install some 6x9s. Any thoughts?
