First kill in my Mazda!
Well this is the 3rd or 4th night I was out practicing to drive stick.
Most of the time my dad came with me or watched. This time he was busy so I was out by myself. I hardly stall it anymore so I went onto the street just to cruise at night a bit since it was somewhat empty (11pm, hardly any traffic) I'm just cruising and then this Civic (94 I think) pulls next to me with clears. And crome hubcaps! (hehe ) There is a kid around 19 or soemthing like that. Guy must have heard me chirp at the last light because he revvs, I look over and nod. As soon as the light turns yellow I shift into 1 and hold the clutch down. Green...boom Top of first I have a car and a half lead, 2nd 2 cars, 3rd 3 cars and I was off. The whole time I was shifting at like 5-6k (my redline is 7 I believe!) So...I'm proud and my dad thought I was just near my house. hehe (shhhh don't tell!) |

congrats on the kill..
one suggestion though.. until you are comfy driving stick, I dont think you should push.. you really should focus on the shifting and not shift mechanically. Later on once you master, then you can do it like a robot.

Smoooooth...Congrats!
What's a "Cronos V6"? Anyway, that Mazda V6 is the exact same as in my 95 Probe GT and the Mazda MX-6 LS. If you need any help at all in modding it out, please let me know - I'll be happy to help. BTW, I hate chrome hubcaps....LOL |

Yeah I know I know I was just too excited and this guy pissed me off with his chrome lol. So Ithought I'd school him!
I'm gonna learn now and won't race. I promise! Quote:
I'm not sure sure what Cronos stands for in Mazda either, it's just some little body upgrade that they did I guess. And yeah that would be great about modding but I won't over do because it has 106k miles on it already just something that'll give it some more power but nothing over done (money is an issue too...I'm broken now! ) |
