proud new owner of....
an 87 CRX SI....I saw it advertised locally for $850/obo....i'll need a car for school coming up this fall. I ended getting it for $550. I missed registering it by 3 minutes this afternoon. I was surprised to see it didn't come with a factory installed radio. I was telling myself I wasn't going to put money into a $550 car. I also didn't know that engines like the B16 B18's are able to be put into. It has 175K miles on it so that may be a possibility. I'd really have to do some research....not as supported as a 88-91....but couldn't pass it up

That's a nice score. I have an 86 CRX on the way. I'll be paying $200 for it. It'll be my project car. I plan on a B18B or B20Z swap with custom turbo.

I'd love to have another 88-91 Si. It could be my beater. Course, maybe I should've just kept my old one. I got a grand out of selling it though. Not bad since it was primer black, a lil beat up and had about 190K.

awesome. I love the way the pre-88 Si's look, old and weird, but still cool. Aftermarket support is way lower, but that'll make it thaqt much more unique.

there's like no aftermarket support for it.....it all starts out at 88-91's.....but i mean if i'd swap engines there'd be parts but who knows what all fits under that hood

there is some support but it's mainly the eibach springs and those that make oem replacement shocks.
