i'm such a retard....need MAJOR HELP

Well okay....dont ask why but i did, i wanted to adjust my valve clearance and for some retarded reason i adjusted all of them at the same time.....DONT ASK WHY but i did. when i started up the car it barly started and it's very boggy. So now i wana put them back in the old position. anyone know how to do this correctly....i need a response before i get home at 3pm est. i have a feeler gauge and i know how to adjust them i just need to know if i'm suppose to adjust them when the valve knob on teh camshaft is up or what? PLZ HELP.....if i get this fixed i ant touching my engine agian

okay so i got it fixed...my dad and bro went at it for like 3-4 hours today while i was at work and they got it to work well...but in the process they broke one of the bolts that holds the valve cover down....so i had to drive with one of they broken. Oil pretty much all over the engine and i'm pretty pissed but more could of happened. tomorrow i gotta buy a new bolts and hopfully fix it. no more engine work for me

i got lucky today. went to NAPA and asked for the bolt i needed and shit kid tell me he's got a engine sitting in his garage. So he give me the replacement bolt free.....cool....car all fixed....
