maaco paint
ive heard many things about maaco paint, i hear it sucks because they use stage 1 paint, which is paint and clear mixed, but then again i hear it sucks because the use scotch bright pads to do the prep work, so im not sure what to do, if i take it to maaco i can get my whole car painted, if i take it anywhere else i can just get the kit painted. i can do all the prep work myself so thats not a problem.

My friend got his truck painted at maaco..the thing is....the paint job sucks
they blotched painted really bad in some spots, so I wouldn't trust them with my car |

so what you think is a reasonable price for a good paint job, full car, door jambs, clearcoat?

back in the day when i had my 89 accord the goldish color i got it painted at maaco just cuz someone rear ended me and i had some money to play with.. it wasn't too bad.. the color wasn't quite as good as the honda color.. but it did it's job.. if it's an older car thas just a daily driver i'd do it with them.. but not on something you like.. ya know?
