Somebody broke into my car last night.
I think they used a jimmy or something. No signs of damage to the door locks, no broken windows. everything is cool. The strange part about it is that whoever broke in did not touch the cd-player, or anything that was a real value in there. All they took were the 2 jacks, my tower braces wich were for sale and the spare wheel. I think the value of what they took is $100 or less. Just venting.

no. no police yet. i don't know if i'm gonna contact them. they are a pain in the butt here and good domestic lovers, and import haters, so i don't wanna hear something like: "they did a good thing, we don't like riceburners".

someone probly just borrowed all that cuz they had a flat or somethin. Maybe they'll return it eventually. Cuz if they took nothin else, they seem to be good sumeritans...I would assume.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Its a very strange situation if they didn't go for your CD player. Was all the stuff stolen in the trunk? Are you sure they entered your car?

Its an invasion of privacy.. your car is your personal space. I get mad if someone borrows the car and the mirrors and seat are moved. So I'm sorry to hear it happened.. was this stuff in the trunk or in the cabin?

I know who the "thief" is
After 2 hours of venting around my house, swearing like crazy finally the "thief" showed up. Well it was my dad that played a dumb joke on me and he returned most of my stuff, xcept the strut bars wich i'm gonna get back when i pay my 3000 debt.

reason for that ? To learn not to leave my car unlocked in the future. i guess my brother left it unlocked after he got his coat out of my car last night. Guess i'm still gonna kill somebody.

So they would rather have a thief steal their car in mint condition.. then lock the car and have a broken window or something from a thief trying to get in? |

I'm going to have to say that's not the way to go. Maybe if the person was a professional, they would get it anyway. If your car is unlocked, any punk teenager can just open it and jack your CDs, radar detector, etc. Not a good idea
