K-k-killed.
K im posting three kills that I thought were worth while from last nights racing....first one is mine.
Went up against a civic hatchback with a b18c ls swap. Beat him by like 3 cars. My friend in his talong tsi went up against a 302 powered mustang twice and beat him with ease.......yes its AWD. Now, this is what amazed me..... a new 1.8t VW GTi, race the talon tsi, and kept up with it more then the 302 mustang did, and all it had was an EIP tuning ECU chip, intake, and headers....and it is the stock turbo one, but it was running on a stock turbo....i was amazed. we still beat it but damn that ****er was fast. |

I think that the top brand chip i think i was told will put the car around 250 at the wheels....I think im not sure though. Then add the intake headers and exhaust.....i could why it would be fast

i think the 1.8t gti has like 180hp and hte chip addes like 40hp/50trq, but i dought it's got 250 to the wheels, maybe to the crank. and yes their quick. the chip boosts up the turbo from i believe 12 or 14 psi to like 18, also does some crap to the fuel air stuff.

I dont know about all that, the base horse power on a talon tsi awd is...210 horsepower, and the talon i was in had an injen intake, full 3 inche turbo back exhaust, and a chip.. and it was right with us. so it could possibly be close to 250. |

the 1.8t vw's are not something to snicker at. depending on what year it was, it was likely about 150hp. with the chip, i think it would be close to 180, and the i/e would bring it up near 200. i raced one from a 35mph roll and slowly walked away after downshifting into 3rd (i wanted to see what he could do).
200hp in a 2800lb car is a pretty good combo. btw, stock for stock, almost any turbo dsm will beat a 302 mustang (assuming a good driver). civickid, ask your friend why he would waste his money on a chip for his dsm. i'm assuming it was a 2g (95-99)? with the exhaust he's probably pushing about 225hp |
