17's Lowered HElp!
Hey, I'm looking into getting some 16/17 inch oz super leggeras
I've seen some pictures of del sols with them it looks awesome! THe problem is, I'm going for mostly performance, I'm wondering If i should do 17? See... the delema is.. If i got 16's the gap on the sides of the tires are too big for me. 17's look much better. I don't want to mess up abs and all that. also I want performance sooo. I don't want to mess up gear ratios too much Here are some pictures of the gap which i'm talking about and the oz del sol |

There isn't really going to be a noticable performance difference between 16's and 17's unless you are measuring accurate track times. I say go with the 17's unless you are a hard core auto crosser or something like that.

I say fuk it all go for the spoon or mugen wheels .....there good lookin and also light weight.....Just fukin around what ever you want to do is what I would say....Its your ride and as long as you like it thats all that matters .......Cause as far as performance goes your not gonna get much out of them considering that they probally weigh as much as stock wheels if not more......The main difference you will notice will be traction....

the wheels wont change anything, you are going to keep the same overall diameter on the tire. abs will be fine, no change in gear ratios, and the wheel gap wont go away, your car will look more jacked up with wheels and no suspension

if u are worried about performance you could get somecenterline rpm wheels. a 19" wheel is only 16lbs, but also just the wheels will be $1700, plus the tires

Get some Rota Circuit 8s or Slipstreams in 16", you can get a set of either for 475$ (4 wheels), and they weigh around 14-15 pounds a rim. Just so you know the slipstreams are spoon look a likes and the Circuit 8s are Mugen look a likes.
