Weapon R Throttle Rotor Installation
They say it was an easy installation (about 30 mins)..but I dont have any mechanical skill and I dont want to mess things up so can anyone help me out.
#1. Remove throttle cable from OEM rotor. #2. Unbolt throttle rotor nut from OEM rotor. #3. place new throttle rotor on toop of the OEM rotor. #4. bolt new throttle rotor down with rotor nut. #5. re-install throttle cable onto new rotor. #6. re-adjust the throttle cable tension #7. physical & visual inspect accordingly. installation is compelted. Can anyone give me a more in-depth instruction from this? |

There is no hp gain from this mod all it does is speed up acceleration by tightening the throttle cable. Decent mod IMO

well..got my WR rotor installed 2 days ago...better throttle respond..but the gas pedal is stiff like hell...i could only push it like for an inch..after that..its a pain to push any farther..therefore I can't go any faster if i cant push the gas pedal..i like the stock throttle rotor better...i could really floor the gas pedal on the stock rotor.

Are you positive you installed it correctly? You loosen the throttle cable and it becomes harder to push the pedal?

My gas pedal is a little tight but I can push it to the floor and go past 80 no problem you must not have it installed correctly. Can you smoke the tires twice as good now?

I was checking out the WR throttle rotor and comparing it to the OEM one..I found out that it was harder for me to press down on the WR rotor (thus..making it harder to push the pedal...it might be because i'd overtighten the nut of the rotor)...I test out the OEM rotor..and it wasnt hard at all. If you had this mod installed..did you take out that round-flat washer or did you leave it on and installed the WR rotor on top of it?

Yes, you install it on top of it. It just slips right over it and then tighten the nut.

I am very surprised by this information actually. All my life I have been thinking that you cannot post any guns by regular post. Is that legally allowed at all? I will check it in my place, I am from https://worldpostalcode.com/united-s...ington/seattle. But I think you should be physically available during such a purchase. Am I right or not? Thanks for the explanation.

Hi,
The weapon R piece brings the cable out about half an inch, enough to give it an angle to rub against the rotor. Last edited by shamsmehra90 : 06-13-2020 at 09:58 AM. |
