itr engine rip off??
yeah i know someone that just got a ITR engine for 7000. i really think he got ripped off. the price included a hydro clutch kit dc sports 4-1 ceramic header and a performance chip. he said his future mods are crower pistons and crankshafts and camshafts and bored out to a 2.0. and then eventually turbo. did he waste his money or what??

$7k is a little steep... ITR IMO is just for the pure JDM freaks out there... to build something and if it had to be 1.8 vtec, u gotta go GSR. priced ok and good power.

$7k? yeah rip off for sure
I know for a fact that HMO sells the c5 for under $5k and its pretty complete chip costs like $30 and header only a few hundred. |

This is stupid. You don't buy an ITR and then turbo it. You don't build it for NA- pistons, cams, etc., and then turbo it. Your friend needs to do more research before he spends any more money.

it's pretty expensive for an ITR engine.

i think an itr engine for 7000 is a lot of money. don't they run usually around 4000-4500 ?
