it was cool... I got there at like 11 or 12 and it was still sunny and nice... it drizzled a little but didn't start to RAIN till like 2-3 so it was cool.. I left earlier than I though... there were some nice cars and a lot of ok cars... lots of swaps and turbo's...

here's a link to the pic thread on h-t...

http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=521351

it was cool though... I'm hoping it happens WAY more often there now... it'll get BIG BIG BIG... there were probobly 100 or more there.

I'm not trying to get too far off topic but man, this weather around here lately really has sucked. Yeah, there are the nice days but they just all happen to be during the week. When I have to work. It'll be nice all week and then as soon as the weekend rolls around it gets shitty. I went away to my house in RI for 5 days for Memorial Day weekend. No, the sun did not shine once. Me and my boyfriend did not leave the house all weekend until yesterday for a little while. Sorry but I really needed to vent to other people in this area.

*Damn, there was a lot of people at that meet*

ya it's been crappy... I don't really care though.. it'll be too hot and lame soon....

I kinda like all the rain.. wish there was more lightning and thunder though...

ya a LOT of people showed up... the pics don't really do it just though cuz a lot of people came in for a while and left and more showed up later... probobly over 200 for the day...

It was cool but could have been MUCH better... not much socializing and not too many people staying by their cars for too long so you can't really ask a lot of questions... also not any racing that I know of... some burnouts on the way out but most were by the time it started raining... . And MOST sounded WAY farty... I don't get who thinks it sounds good... they hear everyone laughing when another car pulls out sounding like theirs then they pull out blasting the fart can... I don't really get it..

also not that it's terrible but almost EVERYONE was under 21 (or looked like they were). I don't look old but I felt like an old man there.

I hate farty exhausts. I'm happy with the fact that there is no exhaust on my car -vs- a farty one. I still have not gotten my tax refund yet but I was planning on investing on a new non-fart exhaust. Yeah, I hear you on the feeling old thing. You know what I wonder about? When you see these 16 & 17 year old high school kids driving these cars that have thousands and thousands of $ worth of work done to them. I could not even afford my Honda when I was in high school nevermind all the $ that I have put into it. Do their parents pay for it? Thunder and lightning is kick ass. Those storms just come and go. But this rain for days and days just sucks. Honestly, I have not even bothered to clean my car all that much. What's the point? It just turns all yellow from the stupid rain and pollen.

There has been a ton of pollen, I can't believe it. I get some thunder and lightning down here but not near enough. Nothing better than watching a thunderstorm with a beer and a cig on the porch.

Oh my god. I was driving home last week and it there was this huge storm. Nonovurbizniz, I think you got hit with this one too. Anyway, it downpoured like there was no tomorrow. The thunder and lightning was insane. But the highways flooded up really fast and I was all over the road because I was in my Cadillac with the real wheel drive. I was scared. I couldn't see 4 feet in front of me.

I'm pretty much Southwest too. I think we had a tiny bit last night but now it's pouring AGAIN. Usually, I really don't let the weather get to me emotionally...unless of course I'm pissed because I have to shovel my car out of 3 feet of snow but come on already. Where is our summer?! We've had nothing but shitty weather since November. Yeah, there's the nice day that comes once a week and that's it. This is REALLY starting to piss me off. I think I said all this already but I needed to say it again. I remember 2 years ago at this time, I was on the beach.

Man I used to love that. I miss it. I got a regular porch now, but it's not the same.

MS,

You notice that that one nice day a week is always during the work week? Sucks.

I have huge windows in my room so I just open those up when it thunders/lightnings. I really love the sound of the rain too. I have been kicking myself in the ass for the past few weeks. Like 2 months ago some of my friends starting planning a trip to Key West for a week and they're leaving Sat. I was all like "There's no way I am leaving the hot weather here to go to hotter weather in Key West"...mind you this was in April. I seriously regret not going with them now.
