Problems problems problems

one of my spark plugs has oil in them and was wondering what to do any suggestions or can someone tell me what is wrong there?

whatever it is.... you better have that checked out....

but im pretty sure that would be the head gasket.... if so.. thats not a good thing:o

actually is the oil on the tip of the plug or only on the tread ? If it is on the tread it means you need to replace the gasket, if you have oil on the tip then it's time to rebuild. The head gasket package runs about 40 @ NAPA, and cheaper at the local auto part storez. What cylinder do u have problems with ? Let me guess #2.

which way do the fire cause if they fire from left to right then its number two but if the fire from left to right then it is number three
why did you have this problem

it is the second from the pulleys not from the transmission. Yes i had the problem, and i still have it. i did not have the toime to replace the gaskets on it yet. If you still have oem wires on it you should see #2 on it.

Update.......I just replaced the plugs and wires and valve cover gasget because I had the oil in the sparkplug tube. Car still won't start going to test the ignition switch tommorow and probly replace it. Thanks for all your help and I'll keep ya informed!
