i wish i could garage my car, but i won't be able to once summer hits....anyways when i had the accord,i had a compustar one on it. i don't recall the model but it was $$$, but well worth it. it had a 2 stage shock sensor, LOUD siren, flashing lights, hood pin, trunk pin, awesome command start (i could even set it up so that it would start every 2 hours and run for 15mins) which worked WONDERS when it was in the freezing months of januray etc.

I really dont know the brands on mine:
My civic has all the simple feature like keyless entry and auto lock but most importantly works with a turbo timer. I can activate the alarm but does not arm until the engine shutsdown. Cost me $120 installed. My integra has the same features but also has remote start, window module, and pager. Cost me $100 brand new and install for free ..... I have friends. |

Most of you guys just bought an alarm system online or in a store and then brought it to a garage for install right? Or does those garages order the alarms for you and then install it?

circuit city and best buy has some alarms that they can install for you with additional cost. the one of my teg was purchased from a local message board. he thought the install was easy. after paying over $400 for the kit and seeing the wires, he backed out and sold that shit to me for $100 shipped.

I think that it is always best to buy the alarm from the shop that is going to install it. That way the product and install are both warranteed if some thing goes wrong. Bye the way I have a 4 year old Clifford Concept 20 in my car with no problems.
