Got some progress made on the HID's... comments welcome.

Well I don't know how to post pics here so I'm just gunna link to my H-T thread...

Long story short I went to my buddies to do the dynomat and test the HID's... tested the HID's and got all ancy so I started working on modding hte stock housings just to see if it was even an option...

I'm pretty sure it'll work out GREAT... way I made the bracket in the link it hooks up the inner housing which is alignable... and also it's mounted all flush and straight to begin with. So there shouldn't even be much alignment needed...

Just gotta work out getting them into the outer housing then making the bracket out of something more sturdy/heat resistant.

here's the link... comments welcome.

Link fixed...

I'm just exited I manged to figure out a way to mount them so they're alignable.

Plus once I get this template done I just flip it over to make one for the pass. side. Then the other one shouldn't take me half as long.

No those are the only pics I have...

I only got the bracket to the point where I could put the xenon assembly flush to the bracket so I could bolt it up... but I didn't drill the holes to mount it up...

I prob. won't work on it again till next weekend and even then I might divert my attention elsewhere... I have like 5 active projects in the works right now.

But the HID's have really got me so I may just get them to the point where they're in bolt up and all I need is the lenses to do the final install... I'm not sure.
