what would be better for piping aluminum or mild steel, I like aluminum because its lighter and won't rust, but I can weld mild steel but it will rust, what would I be better off getting??? I'v been looking at all those universial kits on ebay...any thoughts

Well, aluminum is always the best. As far as weldable materials (other than aluminum), Mild steel is not be as bad. You just have to paint it. Also, aluminized steel is even better. It is only a couple of dollars more anyway.... Aluminized steel is less prone to corrosion....
