problem with my new tires

Hey guys, I have question!!
I got some new tires the other day, the kumho ecsta 712s. they're wonderful tires, but they're just a TINY bit taller than my last set. this wouldn't be a problem but since being lowered, my car drags a little more ass than it should for some reason unknown to me. now, when i corner really hard or hit a big pothole, my tires actually rub against the wheel well in the rear. i removed the rubber wheel well liner thingies and that put a stop to most of it because it gave me a little extra clearance. but still, i'm not able to drive it as hard as i used to and it pisses me off.
ways to fix this...
some people have recommended rolling my fenders, but i don't wanna screw up my beautiful silver paint job.
others have suggested getting little rubber pieces and sticking them at the top of my springs to add a little ride heighth.

more suggestions?
