PDiggs goes to NAIAS

Today was the last day of the North American "International" Auto Show...so I went

Overall, same show as everyother time I have gone. Vendors were in pretty much the same locations and just as many people, with just as many losers stealing parts off of them and scratching the paint for no reason what-so-ever (other than to be pricks, I know).

So here are just a few pictures (I really didnt take that many...first time out with this camera - didnt care for it.)

GT28RS

Believe it or not, this is a Hybrid Toyota v6, making over 400hp

New Civic Si:
I have to say, the seats arent really that bad, but they are definatley for those on the larger size (*ahem...not me). The controls are nice, the speedo up there is dumb, shifter is VERY short and tight.

Already racing the new Si??

(Pat....you douche)

Honda Fit (couldnt get inside!! )
The guy was an idiot, "There are only two made so far..so you cant get inside it" Right guy, thats why there were 6 at the start of the show and about a jillion in Japan and Europe...

I REALLY liked the Fit ...from the outside... My mom liked it too (maybe going to buy one )

I also got the RDX guy to let me onto the spinning platform and take a look inside! I was the only one!! The intercooler is on top, like a stock wrx or DET, like we figured. The reason that there is no scoop, is because the grille is actually an intake port for cool air - its molded to the bottom of the hood and ducts air directly over the intercooler = VERY clever and clean. Oh, and from what I could see under the mess of parts, it is a k24.

Like I said, these were only a few...I dont feel like hosting up anymore...and as you already know, the quality of the pics sucks (nice camera...shitty pictures [through multiple reasons]).

oh...this is what I got from the show too

Took full advantage of free Honda Bags...as well as some from Toyota (which are really very nice for plastic bags), Scion (shitty), Mitsu (eh), Land Rover (decent). A fat GM rep tried to shove a GM bag in my hands...I let it fall to the floor and I stepped on it.
(I was bad mouthing the Solstice/Sky at the time)

But I did get a Fit flip book (shows the seat fold-downs and door openings) and regular line catalog that they have at the dealerships
