pick up some stockers that you can paint or buy the real deal CTR lenses.
jdm style headlights just arent even remotely the same as the jdm counterpart they are intended to replicate. not to mention horrible quality. |

no harness is necessary
if you end up shelling out for units w/ city lights, you just need a socket (dealership sells them or just pull them from any civic's license plate lights from a junk yard, prelude city socket, s2000 sidemarker socket - theyre all the same). After that, stop at the hardware store and pick up a box of female spade clips and use those instead of paying $20 for a silly harness As for the regular bulbs, no, you dont need to do anything - the standard h4 bulbs go in fine |

ok, well more or less i figured out what they are... don't really understand what they're for... but nonetheless...
my question now is, how stupid would it look if you just didn't put them in? REALLY stupid? |

don't be a dousche, put them in. I think you can buy the sockets from passwordjdm.com also, otherwise go searching. They just look sick, trust me. But i believe the actual purpose is so people can see your car in dusk conditions without you having to have your headlights on. I love mine and use them all the time.

can you install city lights in the stock headlights, I think you would have to drill a hole and custom mount one of those wedge bulb style sockets right???

on the back of the housing there's a circular area where the city lights are located on the JDM ones, however you'd have to drill through the reflector housing also, and that would probably fuck it up.
